Crane axle Magnum Knuckle Kit
Crane axle Magnum Knuckle Kit
Introducing the MAGNUM KNUCKLE KIT from Crane Axle.
Commonly used on a 14 Bolt Steering Axle and a Dana 80 Steering Axle.
Run up to 2" 40/47 Spline Axle Shafts
The MAGNUM KNUCKLE is a complete game changer in the world of Off-Road. This is the strongest and lightest knuckle you can find that is able to accept 40 or 47 spline axle shafts with a 2 ½ ton RCV Bell. Now you are able to run even bigger axles and put more power to the ground. Abuse it more then ever before without the fear of breaking.
Professionally Tested by Top Off Road Drivers
We can safely say we stand by our products because they have been tested in the roughest of riding. From trail riding to rock racing, these knuckles will hold up. Crane Axle Inner C’s and Knuckles can be seen on the rigs of racers such as Bubba Bacon, Randall Key, Wes Kean, and more. These guys abuse and put these knuckles to the test. This includes use in Southern Rock Racing Series, Pro Rock Racing, and Ultra 4.
Interlocking Keyed High Steer Arms means No Bolt Sheering
No need to worry about sheered bolts. The Crane Axle High Steer arms are keyed to interlock with the top of the Magnum Knuckles. This puts the stress that can occur on high steer arms onto the knuckle.
100% USA Cast and Machined
We start with the finest domestic grade 8620 chromoly steel and have our Magnum Knuckles cast in the USA. This allows for strict quality control and for a better end product. After casting, each part is individually CNC machined for maximum precision. Our process ensures a consistent end product every time.
A Lighter Weight & Stronger Knuckle
The Magnum Knuckle is only slightly larger than our Dana 60 Knuckle and weighs only 13lbs more. Using 8620 Chromoly Steel on the Magnum Knuckles instead of cast iron allows us to produce a lighter and stronger Knuckle. Our 8620 chromoly parts can take abuse day in and day out. 8620 Alloy Chromoly Steel has a much higher carbon content than mild steel. The higher amount of carbon means increased strength. This material is characterized by a hard outer surface, combined with a ductile interior for higher strength. Minimum properties of 8620 (chrome-nickel-moly) alloy steel; Tensile Strength, psi: 97,000 Yield, psi 57,000.
